This project was located in the rolling hills of Tuscany near the town of Lucca. Six other artisans including Suzanne of Venetian Studios spent the better part of two weeks working to create different finishes for each area of this home for an Italian Canadian client.

A whole home renovation culminated in several finishes including four colour Moiré in the foyer with a custom stencil, a soft colour blend in all the hallways, copper details on a coffer ceiling in the den, and Carolina Sandstone on the fireplace in the music room.

Four different rooms in this home were treated to different finishes. The dining room got a custom ceiling medallion in two colours of embossed Moiré. The living room fireplace was expanded in height to reflect the proportions of the room and treated with Carolina Sandstone to match the mantle. The powder room was glammed up with Ornamental Gesso vines and a copper ceiling, and the family room was treated to two shades of silvery green moiré plaster.

A dining room and connected family room were plastered with four colours of Moiré silvery plaster with accents of gold. Then, a custom stencil design was randomly applied to the walls along with another custom design created for the tray ceiling border in the dining room. The final touch was a three by three foot ceiling medallion embossed with plaster and finished with silver leaf.
